COACH INFO: Coach Rich’s mission is to encourage and inspire area youth to be their personal best through positive team oriented strategies. Like many of his coaches along the way, Rich believes in every athlete he instructs and strives to provide opportunities for development both on and off the court. As a youth, Rich grew up in West Chicago, IL, and lived within walking distance from The Great Lakes Center which is where he played U16 and U18 Jr. Olympic club volleyball with Sports Performance VBC.

EXPERIENCE: Coach Rich says that he’s “learned so many life lessons while in the gym” which is why he’s been focused on being a strong part of Rockwall area volleyball for over 10 years. In 2010-2016, Rich created The Spikettes Team Volleyball Program which was structured to prepare young athletes for future endeavors. A high percentage of STV players went on to excel in high school, club, college, and even Jr. Olympic volleyball teams.
