Coach AJ
Allison Jurica, also known as Coach AJ. Sports have always been a part of her life, starting at a young age. AJ’s parents always believed in the importance of playing a sport and experiencing the value of being a part of a team. Having played multiple sports, she started focusing solely on volleyball when she got to high school, playing club throughout and earned a scholarship to play at Odessa Junior College as an OH/DS. AJ then transferred to Texas State University where she played on their club team and eventually took over as the Sports Club President. She has been coaching club volleyball for the past 3 seasons and brings a wealth of knowledge to teams here at, AmeriSports.
Through intentional impact, her goal is to inspire athletes to reach their fullest potential by helping build their character, improve their confidence, and sharpen their overall skills to develop an athlete who leads both on and off the court.
EXPERIENCE: Played club volleyball throughout High School; Played collegiate volleyball; Coached club volleyball (ages 13,16, and 18).

Coach Hutch
Hutch has coached over 40 volleyball teams and has conducted a combination of more than 100 players’ camps and coaches’ clinics in the USA and Kenya. He played volleyball for over 25 years. Hutch has a B.B.A. and an M.B.A. from ACU and a J.D. from Texas Tech School of Law. He holds the CAP III USAV certification (1 of 4 CAP III coaches in the DFW area). He also holds the USAV IMPACT and SafeSport Instructor Certifications.
As a USAV High Performance Coach, Hutch served on various tryout staffs for several USA Volleyball National/Olympic Teams at the Olympic Training Center (OTC) including the USAV Women’s National Volleyball Team, the USAV Junior National Team and the USAV Youth National Team. For 16 years, Hutch was an evaluator and/or Lead Evaluator for USA Volleyball High-Performance tryouts held across the United States. In 2012, Hutch was appointed by USAV, in cooperation with the USOC to be the official representative of the United States at a two-week International conference held at the OTC.

Coach Mark Mitchell
Mark is from Albany, Ga where he played baseball at a collegiate level. He moved to Heath, TX in 2021 with his family. His daughter is committed to playing volleyball at the collegiate level at Chattanooga State in the upcoming 2024/25 season.
Coach Mithchell has a Bachelor’s degree from UNT. He served in the Marine Corps for a decade, where he learned the values of discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Following his military service, he has spent 7 years as a police officer, further enhancing his ability to communicate effectively, problem-solve under pressure, and build strong relationships within the community.
With over 15 years of experience in coaching youth sports, Coach Mitchell has honed his skills and expertise in guiding young athletes to reach their full potential. His diverse background has equipped him with a unique perspective and a deep understanding of human behavior, allowing him to guide individuals towards reaching their full potential.
Through his coaching, Coach Mitchell strives to not only teach the fundamentals of the game but also to instill important life lessons that will benefit his players both on and off the field. He is committed to fostering a positive and supportive environment where athletes can thrive and grow both as individuals and as a team. He has coached volleyball at the club level and recreational level for the past 3 years.

Coach Lorin McNeil
A native, of Rockwall, Texas, McNeil received her undergraduate degree in general studies with an emphasis in child and family services in 2022. The Rockwall Heath High School graduate is now working towards a Master's degree in business administration. When the 2023 season began, Lorin McNeil began her first season as a graduate assistant for the Tarleton State Volleyball team. Before becoming a member of the coaching staff, McNeil played for two seasons for the Texans.
In 2022, McNeil led the team and the WAC in blocks with 137. Led the team and WAC with 1.27 blocks per set. Finished fifth on the team with a career-high 128 kills. Had a career-high 230.5 points scored, good for third-best on the team. Had 10 blocks in a win over SFA (11/4). Had 16 double-digit block matches. As a junior, McNeil saw time in 20 matches and 75 sets for the Texans in the 2020 season which was delayed to the spring due to Covid 19. She compiled 103 kills with a season-high 12 kills against UT Arlington. Accumulated 92 total blocks leading the Texans for the season. Also tallied 170.5 points on the season, third most on the team. Before dressing out for Tarleton State, McNeil played three seasons for Abilene Christian. She set a single-season record with 111 assisted blocks as a true freshman in 2017. Played in 234 sets over three seasons and totaled 432 kills and 259.0 total blocks. Named all-tournament at the Rice Classic in 2019. McNeil played club volleyball from 6th grade to 12th grade, and a year of collegiate volleyball. In addition, she had an undefeated season coaching 8th graders for AmeriSports Youth Volleyball League and won the league championship.

Coach Sanaa Morgan
My name is Sanaa Morgan, I am 22 years old and recently graduated from Texas Tech University. Growing up I started playing volleyball in 6th grade, during this time I played at various clubs such as Victory, Premier, and Madfrog. I played at Rockwall-Heath High School as a right side and was on varsity for two of four years. Our team won District Championships both during my two years on varsity. After high school, I played collegiate volleyball at Doane University in Crete, Nebraska as a DS (defensive specialist). After COVID hit my collegiate career unfortunately ended and I decided to transfer to Texas Tech to finish school. After graduation, I became a coach for AmeriSports during the Fall League season coaching the 8th grade division. We finished the season undefeated and we won the Fall League tournament. I have decided to continue by providing private lessons.

Coach Maggie Younger
Maggie Younger, is the volleyball director here at AmeriSports, head volleyball coach at Rockwall-Heath High School and Assistant Athletic Director for Rockwall ISD, and has served the community since 2005 as a teacher and a coach. Coach Younger’s family includes her husband of 19 years, Brian, and daughters Logan and Tommi. She started her coaching career at Collin County Junior College in [1997] and moved to the high school level as head coach at Plano Senior High School in 1998.
During her tenure at Heath High School, she has led the program to 13 district titles and two regional tournament appearances. In addition, Maggie has been coaching Dallas Skyline Juniors 14U, 11U, and 10U teams since 1999. She is currently the head coach for Skyline 11 Royal.
Coach Younger's passion is to develop athletes into confident leaders and independent young women through the sport that they love. She feels blessed to be given this opportunity with AmeriSports.

Coach Amanda Gonzales
Amanda Gonzales is currently one of the volleyball directors here at AmeriSports and has served as the head volleyball coach of Royse City High School for the past 2 years.
In 2023 she led her team to their first Area Championship in 17 years, and recorded the most season wins in school history. She started her coaching career in 2019 at New Braunfels High School before taking the head coaching position at Lorena High School in 2020. During her 2 years at Lorena High School, she led the program to 2 district championships, 2 regional tournament appearances, and the first state tournament appearance in school history. Prior to her coaching career, Amanda played division 1 volleyball at The University of Texas at San Antonio.
She is excited to continue to grow the volleyball programs at AmeriSports!

Coach Cameron Croom
Coach Cameron Croom is an Assistant Volleyball Coach at Royse City High School. Graduating in 2018, Cameron played varsity volleyball for four years at Royse City High School receiving multiple First Team All-District honors. Cameron graduated from Texas A&M University in 2022 where she worked with Texas A&M Volleyball as a team videographer.
She is passionate about developing young athletes to succeed both on and off the court.

Coach Joe
Coach Joe boasts an impressive volleyball career spanning more than three decades. As a standout player, he contributed his skills to two collegiate volleyball teams that ranked in the top 25, proudly representing Texas Tech University. His trophy case is filled with a multitude of awards from both outdoor and indoor volleyball championships. While in college, Joe excelled particularly in defense, a specialty that he has carried into his coaching career. He also has extensive experience with offensive strategies and skills. As a coach, he has guided several national-level volleyball teams and has been instrumental in helping elite athletes achieve their aspirations of playing volleyball at various collegiate levels, including NCAA Divisions I, II, III, and NAIA programs.
