Volleyball Private Lessons

COACH INFO:
Coach Hutch brings over 25 years of playing experience and has coached more than 40 teams, along with leading over 100 player camps and coaches’ clinics in the U.S. and Kenya. He holds a B.B.A. and M.B.A. from ACU and a J.D. from Texas Tech School of Law. Hutch is CAP III certified (1 of only 4 in the DFW area) and also holds USAV IMPACT and SafeSport Instructor certifications.

EXPERIENCE:
As a USAV High Performance Coach, Hutch has served on tryout staffs for the USA Women’s National Team, Junior National Team, and Youth National Team at the Olympic Training Center. For 16 years, he evaluated and led High Performance tryouts nationwide. In 2012, Hutch represented the U.S. at an international coaching conference at the OTC, appointed by USAV and the USOC.

COACH INFO:
Coach Rich is passionate about inspiring youth to reach their full potential through positive, team-oriented coaching. A native of West Chicago, IL, he played U16 and U18 Jr. Olympic volleyball with Sports Performance VBC at The Great Lakes Center. Rich believes in every athlete he coaches and emphasizes growth both on and off the court.

EXPERIENCE:
With over a decade of involvement in Rockwall-area volleyball, Rich founded The Spikettes Team Volleyball Program (2010–2016), helping many players advance to high school, club, college, and Jr. Olympic levels. He continues to coach locally and is excited to join the AmeriSports coaching staff.

COACH INFO:
A Dallas native, Coach Amber moved to Rockwall in 2016. A multi-sport athlete at Hillcrest High School, she was recruited to play collegiate volleyball in Iowa, initially as a setter before transitioning to libero. She also competed for a season at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. Amber holds two master’s degrees from SMU and UNT.
Her love for volleyball is matched by her passion for developing young athletes. Amber is committed to building strong character through positive affirmation, accountability, and mentorship both on and off the court.

EXPERIENCE:
With over 27 years of playing experience and more than 20 years of coaching, Amber has led 47 teams and continues to bring energy and leadership to every player she trains.

COACH INFO:
A Rockwall native, Coach Lorin McNeil is a former collegiate athlete now pursuing her MBA after earning a degree in General Studies with a focus on Child and Family Services. She began her coaching career in 2023 as a graduate assistant at Tarleton State, where she also played two seasons.

EXPERIENCE:
McNeil led the WAC in blocks during her senior season and finished among the top in kills and total points. She previously played at Abilene Christian, setting a school record for assisted blocks as a freshman. Lorin also coached an undefeated 8th grade team to a championship in the AmeriSports Youth League.

Coach Jade Green began playing volleyball in 5th grade as a setter before transitioning to middle and right-side hitter. She is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in science and is passionate about sharing her love for the game with young athletes.

EXPERIENCE:
Jade played club volleyball with Incredible Crush and Untouchable EPA and was a varsity athlete at Royse City High School, earning Second Team All-District honors. She continued her collegiate career at Jarvis Christian University and Dallas Christian. Now entering her fifth season coaching with AmeriSports, she is dedicated to building confidence and passion in every player she coaches.

Coach Maggie Dingwell is a Rockwall native and 2010 graduate of Rockwall High School. She earned a full athletic scholarship to the University of Notre Dame, where she was a starting setter and two-time team captain. Now back in her hometown, Maggie is married to her high school sweetheart and a proud mom of three daughters.

EXPERIENCE:
Maggie played club volleyball throughout high school and competed as a starting collegiate setter in both the Big East and ACC conferences. She also earned a spot on the U.S. Women’s National A2 Team Program.

COACH INFO:
Coach McKenna Gonzales is preparing to begin her first year at the University of Arkansas, where she will major in Food, Health, and Nutrition. She currently coaches league and assists with club teams at AmeriSports, while also working as a personal trainer.

EXPERIENCE:
McKenna began playing volleyball at a young age and grew into a versatile right-side hitter and setter. She has competed with clubs including Skyline, Summit, and Victory, and played three years at Heath High School alongside four full seasons of club volleyball.

Coach Tara is a Rockwall High School graduate who played volleyball, cheered, and ran track. She earned her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training and Physical Education & Health from Graceland University and a Master of Liberal Arts from SMU. After 14 years as an Athletic Trainer at Pearce High School, she transitioned into coaching volleyball.

EXPERIENCE:
Tara combines her passion for volleyball with years of experience in athletic training and education. She currently teaches Health Science and Forensic Science and is an integral part of the JJPVB coaching staff.
